How many servers does ProtonVPN have?
ProtonVPN has a total of servers in 54 different countries. 1057 servers are deployed in these countries. You can see all their servers and countries on their website. Keep in mind that all servers are not included unless you upgrade to a larger subscription. You can easily see on the website which ones are included in which subscription.
Does ProtonVPN work for IPTV?
You can use ProtonVPN for your IPTV for security. As their greatest strength is their safety, you can feel really safe. The most important thing for us regarding IPTV use is security as it is not legal with IPTV. Thanks to the fact that they are located where they are, they have no requirement at all to disclose information about you. On that plane, you can feel really confident.
However, we felt that the speed was somewhat lagging behind. There are many channels and a large network behind this so it takes good connectivity to avoid the bugs. It came up right at the beginning when we started the programs but dropped after a while. We noticed that it made a difference where you placed yourself. In the United States (west coast), traffic was really sluggish. In fact, we even thought about shutting down the movie as we thought it wouldn’t get started. After 2.5 minutes it started. We changed the server to one in Germany and it worked better. Make sure to keep track of which servers are fast near you and you should be fine. The Video quality was also slightly worse.
Does it work on Netflix?

Thanks to having so many servers, we were able to access all the content on Netflix but the same problem arose with speed and quality.
We at VPNS are not content with that, but of course we dig into why this can be the case.
It’s like this that thanks to its Secure Core that allows you to lock through other servers before landing where you’re going, the distance gets longer and the speed gets worse. This also degrades your video quality. The safety is much better, but the quality is worse. For us, both are important and you get to decide for yourself what is the most important function for you.
Does ProtonVPN have good speed?
In general, ProtonVPN works well. It is easy and quick to connect to the different servers. In normal internet use, we do not notice any difference or slower speeds. One can notice in different countries if you measure by your internet speed, however, nothing you notice with the naked eye.
The problem they have is quality of video material and streaming sites that require higher performance. That this goes down in quality here is due to their Sucure Core. It ensures your safety on a higher level though.
Does ProtonVPN have a support in case of problems?
ProtonVPN has support. There is no number to reach them, but there are different channels to contact them. To begin with, they have a large FAQ page where you can find the most common questions and answers. There you can actually find most of what you are looking for with good and detailed answers. You can even email them. Depending on what you want to reach them with, there are different email addresses. You can also tweet them on Twitter. I think it would be great if the issue became public. It’s easy to criticize openly. We do not see any nasty or dissatisfied customers there which is positive. A small minus then, simply because there is no phone number.
How do I get started?
You will get to start by choosing the type of subscription you want. Once you’ve chosen it, it’s time for payment (unless you try their free VPN first)

We are a little disappointed when their entire service otherwise screams so that they are so safe. We would have liked to have been able to pay with cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. bitcoin. Always-on automatically re-establishes a connection to a VPN server. These two features protect you well and ensure that a VPN server cannot reveal your identity or traffic if you lose touch. What does ProtonVPN get in the final rating?
ProtonVPN is a fully capable VPN that aims high when it comes to security. For you who value Thi highly, we can highly recommend them. Their efforts in security have some side effects to take into account as well. The quality of video and audio will be slightly worse as you lock through different servers before landing in the one you have chosen. The speed will be slightly worse in some modes. It would have been nice if they had put as much gunpowder on these important functions as well.
The fact that you cannot pay with cryptocurrencies is something we have to draw the biggest minus line for. Anyone who is only looking for really good security and can thumb with the other is the perfect one. And had the cryptocurrency found available to pay with, they would have been the icing on the cake.
The Website is well made. It is easy to install the app and very easy to navigate around. Nice layout and just as easy to find different countries and servers. We don’t like the idea that they wanted to protect activists and journalists, which suggests that they are passionate about what they do. Believe in what they do!
