NordVPN is & will remain for a long time to come the best vpn service on the market. They were early with their services, which meant that they quickly gained a lot of muscle financially that they used to create a better VPN service.
NordVPN is actually difficult to compare with other VPN providers on the market, as it has such an incredible lead today. With nearly 6,000 different VPN servers around the world, there are more than twice as many as 2 on the list. You also have the most number of countries you have servers in, and of course you also have servers in USA.
ExpressVPN
ExprssVPN is perhaps the service in our VPN comparison that will be able to compete with NordVPN in the future. In some countries, you actually have faster load times than NordVPN, but not in Portugal and the rest of Europe.
If we compare ExpressVPN against NordVPN it is very similar, but the big difference comes to the number of VPN servers, and that NordVPN has a significantly larger presence in Europe right now. So our conclusion is that you as a Swede will get a both faster and cheaper VPN service with NordVPN than ExpressVPN. Otherwise, there is only good to say about this service in our comparison of VPN services.
RusVPN
RusVPN or Reliable Unlimted Secure VPN as it stands for, is a relatively new player in the market. In a relatively short time, they have managed to build one of the better VPN services. When we compare VPN services, we make it difficult for them.
To our great surprise, however, RusVPN managed without any problems to stream both 4K via IPTV services, and to play online with as well. When we compared the service against similar ones in the same price range, this was a big surprise for us. We believe that over time RusVPN will be able to be one of the few to challenge NordVPN’S Royal VPN.

StrongVPN
StrongVPN is also a relatively new player in the VPN market, but like RusVPN, we think you get a good offer from them. Those of you who are comparing VPNs to find a cheap service should definitely take a look at their 3 year offer.
StrongVPN offers a whopping 42% off its 3-year plan, which may not sound as much like the other services in that comparison. But then you should know that the basic price of their service is lower than most others, which means that the total amount is still very cheap. For those of you who are a real price Hunter, this may be one of the best options in this comparison.
PureVPN
PureVPN, like NordVPN and ExpressVPN, has been around for a while, and is considered one of the bigger ones on the market. We think they have quite OK prices, but overall there are clearly better services for the same money or less.
PureVPN could have been higher up in our VPN comparison if you had more VPN servers in the Nordics, and that is also what pulls down the ratings on them. This is a clearly approved VPN client, but there’s no reason whatsoever for us to rank them higher in this comparison to VPN giants like NordVPN.
Inleed
Inleed is a Português company that sells VPN services, and for you who are Português, this is a sensible option. However, the price for this service is slightly higher than the foreign VPN companies in our VPN comparison.
Since Inleed is a Português player, you can also be sure that you get good speed on the stuff. However, we have not been able to test it in action on IPTV services, as we do not fully trust the Português services. However, this is a good option for those who want it to watch Netflix, and is the only VPN service in this comparison that has Português customer support on its services.
IVACY VPN
IVACY VPN is a great VPN service that we like very much, mainly because they are incredibly easy to get started with. you even get to test their service for $ 0.99, which is by far the cheapest for a trial period. For those of you who are just starting out, this is a great service.
But what mainly makes IVACY VPN not rank higher in our comparison of VPN services is that they do not have in English. The fact that you cannot read about the service in Português is of course a weakness, which many of the other services in our comparison have fixed. There are not enough VPN servers yet, but this is under construction as we have been able to understand.
Surfshark
Surfshark is also one of the oldest Foxes on the market, and has been around since the beginning of the VPN era. However, they have unfortunately not had the same nice development as both NordVPN and some others, which has made them lag behind a bit in development.
Something that Surfshark stands out with in our comparison, is their huge discount on their service. They offer a ridiculously high 82% discount if you buy a 2 year service, which means you only pay $ 50 to have a secure connection to the internet for a full 24 months. A great option that is just looking for an inexpensive, but working service.
UltraVPN
UltraVPN has vpn servers in 50 different countries which is very impressive, but unfortunately you don’t have any in Portugal. However, the service is fast, and it uses some of the latest encryption techniques.
What mainly pulls down the rating is that you are quite a lot more expensive than many of the other services in our VPN comparison, and you do not have a page in Português. While offering a 50% discount on a 12-month plan, 12 months of UltraVPN costs as much as some other services charge for 24 months.
CyberGhost
CyberGhost is an incredibly good VPN service, with many servers around the world. You can also use up to 7 devices on the same subscription, which is significantly higher than with many other VPN services in our comparison. However, their relatively right price pulls down the final rating.
An 18-month subscription is available for about 50 euros, which in this context is quite a lot according to us. The fact that you do not have a Português translated website also lowers the entire rating significantly, considering that services like NordVPN have both in Português, have Português servers and very attractive prices for their service.
ProtonVPN
ProtonVPN has something we like very much here at VPNS.se, and that is that you can test their service completely free of charge. It does not cost you a penny to test the service, but unfortunately you have quite a lot of restrictions on this service. So for those who just want to surf around protected, this is a very good choice!
However, ProtonVPN is not nearly as good for those who want to use the service for downloading, watching IPTV or on Netflix. Then you need a faster service without restrictions, or choose one of their paid packages. Unfortunately, their free plan causes many people to use it, which means that their service is duller than many others.
SafeVPN
SafeVPN has just as good an offer as our first choice in this VPN comparison, but the difference is that one NordVPN is better for the same price. Otherwise, this is an attractive offer that you have, and a completely OK service both when it comes to speed and security.
A 3 year subscription right now gets you 81% off, which will land you at $ 89.99 to surf securely with VPN for 36 months. However, we think it is too high a price for its monthly test, which comes off at 12.99 USD. There are several services if you compare VPNs, which have both better price, with the same or better performance.
PrivateVPN
PrivateVPN has 99.98% uptime so far, which is very good. However, this may be due to the fact that you do not yet have as many customers as other services, which may affect the speed in the future. This is a fairly unproven service that is good, but there are better services.
PrivateVPN offers you 13 months of VPN protection for $ 49.68, which isn’t entirely bad. But that price has many other services as well, and we would rather have taken any of these services instead. The good thing is that you have a page in Português.
HMA (HideMyAss)
HMA (HideMyAss) is a good service, which could have been higher up if we experienced that the service was more stable. It has good prices, which can be compared to NordVPN. You have a Português website, which allows you to read a lot and compare the VPN service yourself.
However, HMA has problems with stability during our tests, and on several occasions hack the service when we would use it for IPTV watching. But for those who are just going to have it for surfing, or want a security barrier against hackers, this is a good choice. You can pay with lots of different payment options, and you have a 30 day Money Back Guarantee.
Trust.Zone
Trust.zone has one of the best prices in our VPN comparison, where you get a full 2 years for the same price as many of the other services take for 12 months. However, the service has a lot of weaknesses, which pulls down the rating quite a lot. Below you have the pros and cons of Trust.Zone.
First of all, have confidence.There is no Português website, which makes it more difficult for many to compare the VPN service against others. Secondly, you have too few servers around the world, which results in not having as fast a VPN service as the other.
ZenMate
ZenMate is a Português company that sells VPN services, and for you who are Português, this is a sensible option. However, the price for this service is slightly higher than the foreign VPN companies in our VPN comparison.
Since Inleed is a Português player, you can also be sure that you get good speed on the stuff. However, we have not been able to test it in action on IPTV services, as we do not fully trust the Português services.
