What is Inleed?
Inleed is a company that for the most part doesn’t actually do VPNs. Their main occupation is web hosting and server hosting. As mentioned above, they also offer a VPN service.
We at VPNS do not believe that one service needs to be worse than another, because they also tinker with other things. It could also mean that the company is more serious, as they do not only feed on their customers to sign up for a VPN subscription.
Inleed has existed since 2008 and is a subsidiary of Yelles AB.This is a web agency that in recent years has grown in both size and assets, which indicates that they are doing something right in any case.
Is Inleed safe?
When we test how secure Inleed is, it is important to know that we only test their VPN service. How well their web hosting and so on works is nothing we test at all.
Inleed is both safe and insecure. Let’s be as clear as possible about what we mean. There are many different reasons why you should get a VPN. It may be like you need a VPN for your business, where you care about protecting yourself from leaks and intrusions.
Are you a private person who wants to be able to safely sit at home without fear that companies can collect a ton of personal information about you? You can also be a private person who wants to be able to sit on open networks such as airports and hotels, without being afraid of hackers.
The last category of private individuals are those who want to access blocked pages, be able to download and do other things with their VPN. Those who are absolutely concerned about their privacy and that nothing should be traced back to them.
The safe areas
What makes Inleed secure is that they can protect you from hackers and intrusions among other things. When you use Inleeds VPN, your internet traffic goes through an encrypted tunnel. Your IP address will also be changed. This makes it difficult for internet service providers as well as companies to intercept information about you. You can also change where you want to be. Hackers will find it incredibly difficult to access your device and you will be able to more confidently surf open networks. Open networks are almost always found at airports, shopping centers, and so on. Your traffic is simply encrypted-just like a VPN should ensure.
Inleed is suitable for those who want to protect their devices. Make sure to protect passwords and information about you. It may be that your children start using the internet and then a VPN is good protection for them. In this way, companies cannot collect information and tailor advertising to you.
The unsafe areas
What makes Inleed less secure is that they themselves save information about you. Inleed has a very small VPN that really only wants to protect your device. They are therefore not particularly concerned about protecting your privacy from authorities or third parties. You fill in a complete information about you when you register and this is saved. Basically all other VPN services do not save logs about you. (Or at least they don’t claim to) to secure this, you need to avoid too cheap or free VPNs and bet on the bigger sites. If you read their terms of use, it is clear that they collect information. They save all data with the support of the personal data Act. You will consent to your personal data being used in Inleed’s word and text processing, customer management systems, record keeping, accounting and other administration as well as e – mail.
This makes it very unsafe for you when it comes to your personal protection against e.g. authorities. Over 70% of users who use a VPN require zero logging of their data. This is often due to the fact that you want to be able to use blocked streaming services. It may also be that you want to be able to upload and download. In this regard, Inleed is not a good option as they easily hand out your information to third parties and authorities.
Take a stand
Here you really need to decide why you want to get a VPN. Doesn’t it bother you that authorities can get information about you? Are you 100% sure that you are staying law-abiding online? If so, Inleed suits you well anyway. That said, you still get protected against hackers and other things a VPN helps with.
How much does Inleed cost and is it available on a monthly basis?
As they are a very small VPN service they offer, there is only one subscription. You cannot test it for free and there is no money back guarantee. Of course, you can dispute whether you would not be satisfied.
Their subscription offers 20 Gbit and costs USD 29 a month.
How many servers does Inleed have?
It is common for VPN services to have at least several different countries you can place yourself in, in addition, there are different servers in these countries. NordVPN we have over 6000 servers and about 80 of them in Portugal alone. The more servers, the faster your connection.
Inleed is only available in Portugal and has only 2 servers. The servers are located in Tällberg and Falun.
We have to take into account these are not looking to be leaders on VPN services. They want to offer their customers their own VPN and we think that’s a good thing. To get protection for your computer, and especially if you also use their web hosting, we think this indicates seriousness. You can’t expect an extreme VPN service with higher speeds, better video quality, or 700 different servers. They do what they write they do – make sure to protect your device. It’s no bigger than that. And for the price of only 29:- a month, this can suit the individual individual.
Does Inleed work for IPTV?
We tested Inleed’S VPN to an IPTV. It is possible to connect and the connection was no problem. We tested both servers. The speed then became more difficult. This is not a strong VPN and it started bugging during the course of the program. However, we advise against using these for IPTV as they do not protect you from authorities who want to access your data. If you use IPTV that is not legal, you need a much stronger VPN and protect yourself. This service will therefore log your data so you can be safe with med. You can find it under “VPN reviews”
Does it work on Netflix?
Should you be on the move, Inleed will work to SVT play. You place yourself on one of the two servers they have here and vips you get access even though you are not in Portugal.
Netflix works to watch, of course, but not in the way you want to use a VPN for Netflix. American Netflix releases series long before they reach us in Scandinavia and hence it is very popular with a VPN. This way you can place your device in e.g. The United States and get around this geo-blocking. Since Inleed only has two servers located in Portugal only, you will not get around this blocking. So no, to Netflix Inleed does not work.
Does Inleed have good speed?
It’s like a VPN doesn’t boost an already slow internet speed. It can improve something and connectivity can definitely be something better. The speed of the Inleed got for the worse when we tested it together with IPTV. We could not watch Netflix because we can not connect in another country. Svt play is already located in Portugal so if the speed would work well abroad, we can not answer either. They have a very small vpn service so that the speed would improve is not credible.
How many devices can I connect?
Inleed allows you to hook up 2 devices. We say the same about this. They do what they say, they make sure to protect you against e.g. hackers but no more than that. You have to keep in mind that these do not offer a Pure VPN service but more as a complement to their services basically, which are web hosting and server hosting.
The most common is that the cheap, small or free VPN services have 1, or up to 5 devices. The larger sites usually have 5 + devices you can hook up. Some even have you can buy a router that has a pre-installed router in it that will allow you to connect even more devices. We at VPNS don’t think Inleed has a need to offer its customers more than 2 devices either. If you want to advance, you will choose a different VPN service. This is great for the individual who wants to protect your computer.
Does Inleed have a support if problems arise?
-Yes. Inleed has a support consisting of chat, email or telephone. You can call them Mon-Fri 8-21 and Sat-Sun 9-21. The fact that they also have a support on the weekend, we think is a nice support from them.
How do I get started?
You register on their website. Through this you will receive a login.
It differs a little from the other services and if you need help there is a good video and description on their website.
You need to start by downloading OpenVPN. A direct link to this is also available on their website. All VPNs use different VPN protocols, most are already installed on. Once you’ve downloaded OpenVPN, you’ll need to use a different link to activate your new VPN service. You will receive this in your email when you start an account with them.
What payment options are available?
Since they are not very concerned that you should be able to be completely anonymous to neither them nor the authorities, you can unfortunately not pay with cryptocurrencies about Bitcoin. We usually think this is a big part of security. In this case, we don’t think the advanced user will use their VPN, but most likely you who only want your device but not you.
You pay on an advance invoice or directly with your debit/credit card.
Can I use it to download?
Of course, you can use it to download, you can do this only if you have access to the internet. Downloading is unfortunately not legal and it is for this purpose that we mean that you then need a stronger VPN service. Inleed will disclose your details if the authorities want to get hold of them. Simply put, you are protected directly from the website you download. They always save on IP addresses and activity from the user. But Inleed you actually get protected against this. However, should your internet service provider learn of the Download, they can directly take action against you such as slower speeds or disclosure of data to the police.
What does Inleed get in final grades?
It is a bit difficult for us to judge this VPN service as it is so strictly aimed at you who are concerned about the protection of your device. For those who want the full protection that most other VPNs offer, this is not the right choice. We want to sum it up like this.
The top for the individual freelancer

For this purpose, we think Inleed fits perfectly. They are cheap and simple. They do not offer complicated functions, you do not have to hassle with changing servers, etc.Keep it small and simple. They simply protect your device, but not data about you in any case.
Not good for an advanced VPN user
It also doesn’t have to be for the advanced. But as soon as you want to be able to get around geo-blocks, Inleed won’t be able to help you. Thanks to the fact that they are so small and only have 2 servers in Portugal, you will not get out of these frames. You cannot use it for your IPTV due to poor security. Nor can you access content on Netflix that can only be accessed in America. You can even trick airlines into cheaper travel by placing yourself in a country with a poorer economy. You also miss this with Inleed’S VPN. For us, total safety is important. We do not believe that a VPN service should under any circumstances log information about you. The whole purpose is for you to remain anonymous. Even if authorities want to access information about you, these companies should not be able to disclose it.
