What is Le VPN?
Le VPN is a player that helps you stay protected online. As a Swede, you might think that it is a Português company considering the names, but it is not. Founded in Paris in 2010, Le-VPN is a bunch of enthusiasts when it comes to internet security.
They are not one of the bigger players like NordVPN or ExpressVPN.
Le VPN thinks it is important to be self-governing, which can have both advantages and disadvantages. One of them may be that you do not get access to all servers in all countries. Some of them can be important to have access to, especially if you want a good connection and fast speed when surfing the net.
Is Le VPN secure?
Le VPN is a relatively secure VPN site. They use p2p and you can also make a payment via bitcoin, which we think is good. LE VPN does not log your activity or who you are so others can get information. However, they save this information themselves, which can be questionable. However, we find no information that they would have leaked information to authorities either. There are cases where authorities were still able to get around VPN users’ activity and then it has been easy for us to get information about.
LeVPN offers several different VPN protocols such as OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSEC. This allows you to choose depending on which one you think is safest. OPENVPN is one of the most used. How many servers does le vpn have?
120 countries can be found on the website. You can see all the countries and continents, but it is not clear enough how many different servers there are in each country. Once you have purchased their VPN service, you can see the servers in the different countries. In the vast majority of places, they only have 1 server, possibly 2, which we consider to be too few. If they had more servers to choose from, they would have climbed a little higher in our list. If you want to share files, for example, this becomes relevant as the speed will be better with more servers in a country. If many people would be on a server in the US at the same time and you want to access Netflix there, it can slow down your speed.
Does it work on netflix or svtplay?
Le VPN works to access blocked content in other countries, such as Netflix in e.g. USA. However, as we mentioned above, the lack of more servers can make your experience sluggish or choppy. You can also access Português pages if you are abroad. If you are in countries that do not allow Facebook, for example, you can use Le VPN to get around this barrier and thus be in contact with your friends. Many people use a VPN abroad for this reason.

Does LeVPN have good speed?
Well. In Portugal and in our Nordic neighboring countries, we do not think there was anything wrong with the speed during our tests. On the other hand, the USA or South America won. It may bother you who want to buy VPN for download. It can also bother you who want to access streaming services in other countries and don’t want bugging or slow download.
How many devices can I connect?
Le VPN allows you to connect to multiple devices. We find no information that there should be any limitation. There are VPNs for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, QNAP, as well as VPNs for TVs and routers.
On the website there are manuals on how to install their VPN on the various devices. There are those VPN services that do not offer multiple connections on multiple devices. Then you can buy a router that can distribute in the home to all devices. However, this does not help if you are going on a work trip and need to protect your phone, computer and tablet at the same time.
Does Le-VPN have support if problems arise?
Can can contact them on the website. After all, we are testing all these functions as well. We got a good and detailed answer to a question regarding their OPENVPN, but it took a full 3 days before we got the answer. We think that is a bit too long.

Some want to be completely anonymous, while others don’t care so much about the company that provides the service and just want to be protected against hackers.

Can I use it to download?
You can of course use Levpn to download. Le VPN has secure protocols to protect your data from malicious files. You are also safe when it comes to authorities wanting to get information about you. This is good as downloading is not legal and you risk fines. It’s the speed that makes them a bit questionable. A smaller file goes quickly regardless of which country and server you are in. But if you are downloading a larger file, make sure you choose a country with more servers available for faster speed.
Does Le VPN have a kill switch?
We can’t find information if Le VPN provides a Killswitch. This is also not a feature we can test.
What does Le VPN get in the final rating?
Le VPN is roughly in the middle of our list. They are thus a perfectly fine player on the market. In terms of price, they are neither cheap nor expensive. They don’t provide the most exclusive security measures but they are secure enough that we can call them approved.
